Tribute to Jim, K3CHJ
30 Years, Rooster Net Control Station August 15, 2025
There is a ham named Jim, K3CHJ, who has been a Rooster for many a day.
And along the way, he took on the role, as Rooster Net Control,
and has made thousands of our mornings, a time to behold.
We loved to hear him crackle and crow,
And he’d keep the net moving, come rain, sleet, or snow.
He has taken on propagation, commotion, and challenges beaucoup,
And rose to the occasion to see them through.
And Dotty by his side with grit and with grace,
Ensuring 6 a.m., found Jim in his place.
So Jim, Thank you. We’ll miss your signoff and the way you would say: This has been your Net Control, K3-C-H-J.
So Roosters, Let’s all give Jim special salutations for his many years as Rooster Net Control Station.

Thanks to Bruce WD4DSV for organizing the reservation and for the custom drink coasters. Super neat souvenir to remember the flocking!
